How do I connect ENA Survey to Microsoft Teams?

In Microsoft Teams, create an Incoming Webhook connector for your target channel and copy the webhook URL. In ENA Survey (Global Settings → Integrations), create a new webhook endpoint, paste the URL, select the Teams preset (MessageCard or Adaptive Card), and choose which event types to subscribe.

What is the difference between MessageCard and Adaptive Card?

MessageCard is Teams's legacy format with simpler layout options. Adaptive Card is the modern format with richer layout including buttons, images, and structured sections. For new deployments, we recommend Adaptive Card for a better Teams experience.

Which events can be sent to Teams?

All survey webhook events can be routed to Teams: survey response completed, survey ticket created, ticket assigned, and ticket status changed.

Can I route different events to different Teams channels?

Yes. Configure multiple webhook endpoints in ENA Survey, each with a different Teams channel URL and a different set of subscribed events. For example, route completed responses to your Research team channel and ticket updates to your Operations channel.

Do Teams messages show up in any language?

Webhook payloads include the raw response text as submitted by the respondent (in their language). The Teams message template shows the original text. For admin-language translation, view the response in the ENA Survey admin panel where AI translation is available.
